What We Collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, and (for shipped orders) your shipping address. As you browse, we collect basic analytics such as pages visited, referring site, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

How We Use It

We use your information to fulfill orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, respond to support requests, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Payments

Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. Your card details go directly to the payment processor and never touch our servers; we receive only a payment confirmation and the last digits of the card.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep your shopping cart between visits, remember your checkout details if you choose to enter them, and maintain basic session state. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; doing so empties your cart and removes saved checkout details.

Advertising & Third-Party Analytics

We advertise on Google, Facebook/Instagram (Meta) and TikTok. To measure whether those ads actually work, we use Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel on this site. These services set their own cookies and receive information about your visit — pages viewed, products viewed, items added to the cart, and completed orders (including the order total and the items purchased) — along with your IP address and general device information.

This information is also used for interest-based advertising: you may later see our ads on Google, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram because you visited this site, and Google and Meta may combine what they learn here with data they already hold about you.

When you place an order, we may send Google and Meta a one-way encrypted (hashed) form of your email address or phone number so they can confirm that an ad led to a sale. They receive the hashed value, not your plain email or phone number, and are contractually limited to using it for measuring and improving our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under California law (and similar state laws), the use of advertising cookies described above is nonetheless treated as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time:

• Google ads personalization: myadcenter.google.com
• Google Analytics opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
• Your browser’s cookie settings, or a “Do Not Track”/global privacy control signal, will also block these cookies.

Blocking or opting out of advertising cookies does not affect your ability to browse, order, or get support.

Recent Purchases On Our Website

To show that our store is active, our homepage may display a rotating card of recent orders using the buyer’s first name only, their state, the date, the item, and its price. We never publish your surname, street address, city, contact details, or payment information. If you would prefer your order not to appear, tell us at sales@getpcparts.com — before or after your purchase — and we will remove it.

Phone & Text Messages

The phone number you provide at checkout is used to contact you about your order — delivery questions, pickup coordination, or a problem we need to resolve. We may call or text you for those purposes; standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Children’s Privacy

Our store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at sales@getpcparts.com and we will delete it.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the business: with our payment processor to process payment, with shipping carriers to deliver your order, and with service providers that host our infrastructure. We also share the advertising measurement data described above with Google and Meta. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention & Your Choices

Order records are retained for accounting and warranty purposes. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, contact us at sales@getpcparts.com and we will respond promptly.
